Keeping time with the sound of Tamte, 808s and Marfa kettledrums, Bootleg Tongue is an album synthesized as fictional soundscapes that traverse multiple neighborhoods, trade routes, and cosmic worlds. Bootleg Tongue mixes field recordings, crowded streets, Youtube shorts, non-classical remixes, Doordarshan archives, and portable percussion, to improvise with ideas around a haptics of migratory movement which shape digital subjectivity.
